About ICB hero image

ICB is gaining traction as it continues its efforts to maintain and expand its recognition as the only testing, adjusting and balancing and fire life safety entity in the HVAC industry to earn ANSI accreditation under ISO Standard 17024. This standard provides an international benchmark for personnel certification programs to ensure that they operate in a consistent, comparable and reliable manner.

ANSI is a private organization that oversees the creation and use of national standards. Organizations designated to display the ANSI seal must continuously maintain benchmark performance criteria and quality levels stipulated by the institute as well as national and international standards. Its mission is “to enhance both the global competitiveness of U.S. business and the U.S. quality of life by promoting and facilitating voluntary consensus standards and conformity assessment systems, and safeguarding their integrity.” ICB has embraced this statement by operating the Bureau in accord with this stringent guideline to provide better work opportunities for its contractors and workforce.
